Digital technologies have become more frequent in society for people of all ages, and there needs to be an adaptation to technological advancements to ensure education reaches all types of people. In this way, we will address websites and apps that are easy to use in schools, with the aim of identifying which apps can be used by teachers and students in science teaching for middle school students. In this context, the article presents mobile apps, computer programs, and websites aimed at teaching science through technology. Thus, we can say that programs like Microsoft's Paint 3D for Windows 10, the PhET Colorado website from the University of Colorado Boulder, the Chemcollective website, and the mobile app Evolução Nunca Fin – Célula à Singularidade make a significant contribution to science education at middle school level, even in cases like Paint 3D, which is not specifically designed for education and Chemcollective that focus on Chemistry teaching. Just like the other sites and apps, the importance of these digital technologies in the subject and style of teaching science is evident.
