The development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) is an important health education strategy. When applied to the perspective of Permanent Education in Healthcare (EPS), it allows for the transformation of the professional praxis. Therefore, the interactive education enables workers in the Unified Health System (SUS) to access professional skills and education. The goal of this study is to analyze the implementation of interactive education on tuberculosis for Primary Health Care professionals in a municipality within the Santos Metropolitan Area, Brazil. Its focus is on the advances and limitations of distance learning (EAD) as part of the Permanent Education Program. It is a qualitative study based on context analysis, and it highlights the practical nature of EaD and how, with flexible schedules, it has had a transforming impact on everyday practice. It has also highlighted the need for further support from all levels of administration to offer more time and access structure for the tool. It has been concluded that interactive education is of great relevance for Primary Health Care professional skills and, therefore, has a positive impact on improvements in quality and problem-solving solutions for SUS users.
